New Release of Selectica's Flagship Contract Management Solution Now Available

Release of Selectica Contract Performance Management Adds Functionality in the Areas of Remote Access, Workflow, Reporting, and Search

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - April 9, 2008) - Selectica, Inc. (NASDAQ: SLTC), a leading provider of enterprise contract lifecycle management (CLM) solutions, today announced general availability of the latest release of Selectica Contract Performance Management. The most notable enhancements in the release accelerate review and approval cycles, expedite workflows, enhance reporting and audit capabilities, and add more powerful searching options.

Selectica Contract Performance Management v3.2 enables a geographically diverse team to receive and process contract approvals via PDAs and Smartphones, such as the Blackberry and the Motorola Q. As a result, contract reviewers and approvers can securely process the contract and provide comments from anywhere in the world.

Enhancements to the handling of third-party contracts include PDF-to-MSWord conversion, to facilitate processing, review, and approval. In addition, new tools enable a comparison of inbound third-party clauses in these contracts to a company's "approved" clauses, allowing legal departments to quickly identify changed, missing, or risky terms.

The latest version of Selectica Contract Performance Management also provides cross-contract type reporting, which enables users to aggregate information across multiple contract types into a single report, enabling visibility into, and evaluation of their overall value -- and risks. Also added are enhanced search engine capabilities that allow searching of both the full text of the contract as well as contract attachments.

"Selectica is committed to expanding the footprint of our Contract Performance Management solution, and to advancing its usability for all customers," said Jason Stern, Selectica's Vice President of Products and Business Development, Contract Management Solutions. "The feature enhancements contained in this latest version certainly reflect that focus, while also addressing the specific needs of legal and contracting departments, as well as the specialized requirements for government contracts and healthcare providers. Several key customers are expected to adopt Selectica Contract Performance Management v3.2, representing the telecommunications, healthcare, manufacturing, and food and beverage industries."
