(OTCBB:KMAG) (Frankfurt:VVS) announced today that its Hong Kong office has commenced the fiscal year with impressive results, reflecting an increased revenue of 50% over last year, and is operationally profitable.
In June 2007, KMA's Hong Kong facility opened as a key customer service and distribution center for all KMA Global Solutions products. In January 2008, the first of two production lines was installed and tested, to begin producing finished product. The Hong Kong facility is now producing and fulfilling all orders of NEXTag(tm) sew in solutions, under the leadership of one of the founders of KMA Global Solutions, Laura Wilkes. As the Managing Director of KMA's Hong Kong operations, Ms. Wilkes has played a critical role in establishing this distribution centre, including the training of customer service and new production staff. In addition to start up of this new location, KMA has hired a sales representative to manage relationships with current clients as well as develop new relationships built over the previous years.
