Glaser, senior vice president and Nevada manager of Private Banking and Wealth Management Services, has been named to the board of directors of the YMCA of Southern Nevada, along with being appointed to the nonprofit organization's finance committee. Glaser joins the YMCA board with more than 20 years of experience serving on various nonprofit boards and providing countless hours of volunteer outreach to numerous community programs and projects throughout southern Nevada. Glaser's involvement in civic and philanthropic related organizations includes serving as director and executive committee member of the Nevada State Development Corporation; member of the Las Vegas Rotary Club; member of the Interagency Coordinating Committee for the Nevada Development Authority; director of the Nevada Enterprise Network; Adjunct Instructor for the Community College of Southern Nevada; volunteer for the Boulder Dam Area Boy Scout Council Sustaining Membership Drive; and much more.

Glaser has over 30 years of professional experience in the banking and finance industry. Prior to joining City National Bank, he served as an international consultant in the Financial Institutions consulting practice of KPMG Peat Marwick. He also served as senior vice president and manager of Corporate & Private Banking for PriMerit (where he served on the Executive and Investment Management committees), and as vice president and manager of Corporate Banking for Valley Bank of Nevada. Other past positions include serving as the Chief Financial Officer for two regional retailers in home furnishings and wireless telecommunications.
Glaser holds Bachelor degrees in Finance and Business Administration from the University of Utah and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware. In addition to his adjunct instructor position as the College of Southern Nevada, Glaser has also been a speaker at various seminars and associations on various financial topics.
