In spite of total revenues of 14.1 million Euro, which represented a 12.8%
increase on the same quarter last year, at 0.9 million the EBIT lay under
the EBIT for the comparable quarter last year by an equivalent amount. This
results from a significantly higher material expenditure ratio caused by an
increased factor of third-party services and products with mechatronic
components both in Belgium and Germany, as well as an additional one-off
cost of 0.5 million Euro, in connection with the departure of a member of
the board. As at 31st March 2008, which marked the end of the first half of
the fiscal year 2007/2008, total revenues were 2.3 million Euro (8.3%)
above those during the comparable period from the previous year and the
EBIT at 1.0 million Euro, lay under that for the previous year by an
equivalent amount. Based on the very positive and tangible project-based
demand, which is anticipated to result in a significant order inflow, the
Board, based on the current situation, is expecting to achieve total
revenues of over 60 million Euro during the fiscal year that ends on 30th
September 2008, with an EBIT in excess of last years.
