IRVINE, Calif., May 28, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Canyon Acres Children and Family Services, a charitable organization committed to providing homes, care, treatment and supportive services for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children and their families, today announced the 23rd Annual Par Fore Kids Golf Classic will take place Monday July 21st 2008 at the prestigious and private Yorba Linda Country Club. Proceeds from the Classic will benefit Canyon Acres' programs and services.

The Classic will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday July 21st at the Yorba Linda Country Club and, in addition to 18 holes of championship golf there will be breakfast, lunch, dinner, live auction and awards ceremony. Sponsorship opportunities range from $300 for individual golfers to $25,000 for a Title Sponsor. Current Sponsors include: KOCE, Kent H. Proceeds from the event will benefit Canyon Acres' various programs and services that benefit over 200 children each day and include a Children's Treatment Center, a Foster Family Agency, mental health services, and the enormously successful Wraparound and Creating Family Connections programs.
