The turnover (including VAT) of the leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania and the Baltic States Apranga Group has made LTL 36.1 million (EUR 10.5 million) in May 2008, or 18% more than in May 2007. The retail turnover growth rate in May 2008 was adequate to increase of sales area in comparable period. The retail turnover (including VAT) of Apranga Group has made LTL 196.6 million (EUR 56.9 million) in January through May 2008 and has increased by 28.8% comparing to corresponding period of 2007. In January through May 2008 the retail turnover of Apranga Group in Lithuania has increased by 28.3% year-on-year, in Latvia 31.4%, in Estonia 25.1%. Apranga Group has opened 4 new stores in 2008 with general area of 1.5 thousand sq. m. Apranga Group has opened 17 new stores in corresponding period of 2007. Currently Apranga Group operates a chain of 87 stores (58 in Lithuania, 24 in Latvia, and 5 in Estonia). Shares of Apranga are listed on Baltic equity list on Vilnius Stock Exchange.
