Rogue Wave Names Brian Pierce CEO

BOULDER, CO--(Marketwire - June 9, 2008) - Rogue Wave Software, Inc., the leader in enterprise class C++ components and infrastructure, today announced Brian Pierce as the company's chief executive officer. As part of the appointment interim CEO Bart Foster rejoined Battery Ventures, which acquired Rogue Wave in 2007.

Pierce has more than 20 years of experience in both enterprise application software and tools with a significant focus on delivering high levels of customer service and satisfaction. He has a proven track record of helping software companies successfully grow revenues and increase the value of their offerings.

Most recently, Pierce served as a senior vice president at Infor Global Solutions where he had responsibility for five independently operating business units including TriSyn Group, which merged with Infor in 2006. Prior to the merger, Brian served as President and Chief Operating Officer of TriSyn Group, helping increase total revenue 40% over three years. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Customer Support and Satisfaction at TIBCO Software, Inc. and served in senior field operations and services roles at InConcert (acquired by TIBCO) and Xerox.
