NCC to build Scandic hotel in Karlskrona

NCC has entered into an agreement with the property company Dagon AB concerning
the construction of a new Scandic hotel at Fisktorget in Karlskrona. The
transaction will be implemented in the form of a company sale and the order is
worth approximately SEK 170 million.

The new hotel will be built at Fisktorget, Trossö, in the very heart of
Karlskrona. When completed, the hotel will contain 180 rooms and a restaurant,
as well as fitness and conference facilities and a bar encompassing
approximately 7,560 square meters of floor space. Scandic has signed a 15-year
lease pertaining to the entire property.

- Karlskrona has long been lacking a hotel of this dignity and, after several
years of work on developing the project, it is particularly gratifying to have
now finally concluded an agreement, says Håkan Stjernqvist, Department Manager
at NCC Construction Southern Region.

- The project will entail that NCC, Karlskrona municipality, the Scandic hotel
chain and the property company Dagon engage in close cooperation, with all
parties playing a very important role.

Work will commence in August and the hotel is scheduled for completion in March
2010. In total, about 30 people will be employed in the project.

The contract will be registered among orders in the third quarter of 2008.
