The Judges Award is reserved for organizations or individuals who have overcome significant difficulties or hardships, based on the judges' recommendations.
TMNG earned this honor for its ground-breaking work in a project supporting the merger between NTL and Telewest to create Virgin Media Limited., which set up the UK's first "quadruple-play" media company, bringing together television, Internet broadband, mobile phone and fixed-line services. TMNG's role involved helping the companies to reconcile three legacy billing systems encompassing a service base of 4.5 million of households into another system serving millions of other households. The complex project also included careful oversight of performance assurance in the post-launch phase of the new platform and management of the implementation of back-office functions associated with adding a new mobile service to the existing mix of voice, video and Internet services across the entire company's footprint.
