Two New Z-Wave Third-Party Test Partners Authorized to Meet Double-Digit Product Growth

FREMONT, CA--(Marketwire - June 24, 2008) - In response to unprecedented market growth, two new third-party Z-Wave Certification Test Partners have been contracted to provide Z-Wave certification to products demonstrating Z-Wave compliance and interoperability.

Z-Wave has been experiencing remarkable growth, including a 30 percent increase quarter-to-quarter of products submitted for certification. By expanding its Certification Test Partners, Z-Wave will be better equipped to meet the high demand and facilitate faster time-to-market for their partners.

BuLogics, a longstanding member of the Z-Wave Alliance with extensive experience in this standard, and the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Lab (UNH-IOL), a neutral laboratory dedicated to testing data networking technologies, were selected from a long list of interested parties through a thorough selection process. The labs began testing Z-Wave products earlier this month.

The new test labs take Z-Wave certification a step further by providing technologically advanced equipment and practices, including:

--  Test labs with state-of-the-art equipment for verifying and debugging
    Z-Wave compliance
--  New measures to comply with the growing demand for faster compliance
    testing and increased process transparency
