Saab receives supplementary orders for Gripen

Saab has received orders from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, FMV,
for electronic warfare systems and supplementary weapons pylons for Gripen to a
total value of 574 MSEK.

The order for Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) means that the aircraft will be
equipped with antennae, transmitters and computers to interfere with enemy air
and ground forces. The order is valued at 324 MSEK and deliveries will be made
2008-2009.

The supplements for weapons pylons means that the aircraft will be able to use
GPS equipped weapons systems. The order is worth 250 MSEK and deliveries will
take place 2009-2011.
