British Airways Launches 27 City Sale

$562 From New York (JFK or Newark) to 27 Select Europe Destinations


NEW YORK, July 15, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- British Airways today launches a sale fare, allowing travelers to fly from the U.S. to a choice of 27 cities throughout the U.K. and Europe.

World Traveller economy roundtrip airfares begin at $562 (including fuel surcharge) between New York (JFK or Newark) and London, Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Rome, Frankfurt, Geneva, Malaga, Dubrovnik, Brussels, or 17 other European destinations. Comparable airfares are available from all 18 British Airways' U.S. cities to 27 select destinations.

Travelers purchasing roundtrip tickets within this period will also receive a $50 discount on land arrangements throughout Europe, including hotel, car rental, airport/hotel transfer and sightseeing, such as London Sightseeing Pass, Old Amsterdam by Candlelight Cruise, Paris City Hop-On Hop-Off Tour, Rome by Night Tour, and the Dubrovnik Panorama City Tour.

Travelers also have the option to upgrade to World Traveller Plus, the airline's premium economy cabin, starting from $150 each way from select U.S. gateway cities to London.

Prices are available for sale through Thursday midnight (EDT), Jul. 17, 2008. Travel is valid from Sep. 4, 2008, through Oct. 22, 2008.

World Traveller roundtrip fares must be booked and purchased seven days in advance and are non-refundable. World Traveller Plus roundtrip fares must be booked and purchased 21 days in advance. Fares may be higher for other travel dates and from other U.S. departure gateways. Weekend (Thursday-Sunday) surcharge applies at $30 each way. Fares are subject to government approval and do not include government fees and taxes from approximately $165 and a $2.50 September 11 Security Fee. A minimum stay of Saturday night is required and a maximum stay is 11 months.
