Villingen-Schwenningen, 18 August 2008: NEXUS AG, Villingen-Schwenningen,
listed in Prime Standard, improved its sales to KEUR 15,361 in the first
half year from KEUR 13,239 (+16.0%) and achieved a substantially better
EBTDA of KEUR 3,000 compared to KEUR 2,521 (+19.0%) in the previous year.
The result before taxes improved from KEUR 605 to KEUR 749 (+24.0%), and
the Group result improved by 27.1% from KEUR 553 to KEUR 703.
The second quarter closed with sales of KEUR 7,949 compared to KEUR 6,930
in the previous year (+14.7%) and an operating result before taxes of KEUR
366 improved by 59.4% (previous year: KEUR 230). Sales continued to show
good news with an increase in the Healthcare Software sector in the first
six months, rising by approximately 18.4% to KEUR 13,111 (previous year:
KEUR 11,071).

The foreign share of Group sales was 36.4% in the first half year compared
to 41.7% in the previous year. The Healthcare Service Division recorded
sales of KEUR 2,250 in the half year following KEUR 2,168 (+3.8%) in the
first six months of the previous year. Operative Cash flow improved by
about 21% from KEUR 1,428 (previous year) to KEUR 1,733.

As of 30 June 2008, the balance sheet of the NEXUS AG showed cash on hand
and securities worth 10.9 million euros, against which there are no
substantial financial liabilities. The equity capital rate was 81.5%.

NEXUS AG develops and sells modular software solutions with its divisions
'Clinical Information Systems' (CIS), 'Diagnostic Information Systems'
(DIS) and 'IT-Services' for international health care systems. NEXUS / CIS
accounts integrative solutions for hospitals and psychatries. Solutions of
NEXUS / DIS are covering special ward solutions for radiologists,
pathologists and gynaecology and intensive care. NEXUS operates within all
its product sections with modern, modular software architecture, which
makes a flexible and progressive introduction of NEXUS-Systems possible.

More than 350 staff members in the NEXUS Group develop software and IT
solutions, with which approximately 73,000 users in 17 countries work.
