CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - August 21, 2008) - MorrisAnderson is pleased to
announce that Craig Pace has joined MorrisAnderson's Chicago office as a
Consulting Manager.

Craig Pace has been an employee with or consultant to Fortune 500
companies, mid-sized enterprises and startup ventures, developing
particular expertise in raising equity capital, developing and implementing
strategic plans, and building organizations from concept to impact in their
markets. A co-founding director of Ariel Savannah Angel Partners, an angel
investment group based in Savannah, Ga., Pace has raised more than $26
million in funding for startup companies.
Before joining MorrisAnderson, Pace was a principal with Chicago-based
Walker Sands Communications, a full-service marketing communications,
public relations, and consulting firm. He was responsible for all financial
matters, as well as for multiple client accounts in consumer food products,
investment banking, healthcare, private equity, real estate and software.
Prior experience includes serving as CFO of a $20 million full-service
aviation company, with responsibility for financial controls, reporting
systems, planning, and budgeting for the company. He sought and delivered
a funding source for a buyout of the company, obtaining an offer of nine
times EBITDA.
Pace was also founder, CEO and CFO of OneTrace, an innovator in the
geolocation industry. He raised angel funding for the company, licensed
next-generation tracking technology from a national laboratory, secured
valuable business partnerships, and ultimately sold the intellectual
property.
Pace holds an MBA from Yale University, a master's degree in economics from
the University of South Carolina and a bachelor's degree in business
administration from Winthrop University, Rock Hill, S.C.
