LONDON, Aug. 28, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ROK Entertainment Group Inc. (OTCBB:ROKE), the global mobile entertainment group, announces its data-compression subsidiary, Blubox, has launched online sales in Germany and Japan.
Blubox, which compresses digital files by up to 95%, will be distributed by leading software solutions vendors AIC in Japan and by PX Software in Germany.

In addition, ROK announces the termination of the conditional agreement between its online diamond retail subsidiary, ROK Diamonds, and Australian-listed Mineral Commodities Limited ("MRC") for the purchase of the Kariba Kono diamondiferous gravel dump in Sierra Leone.
The agreement -- based on a letter of intent entered into by the companies in June 2008 -- has been terminated by ROK due to unexpected legal impediments encountered in Sierra Leone.
