DENVER, Sept. 1, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- To celebrate its first ten years flying between Denver and London, British Airways is offering a Club World business class fare to beat all fares -- $1010 one-way.
This spectacular fare, which includes the fuel surcharge, is offered for sale Monday, Sept. 1st through midnight, Thursday, Sept. 4th, 2008, and available for travel Oct. 11th through Dec. 17th, 2008.
"The travelling public and the travel trade in the Denver area have, over the past 10 years, been very supportive of British Airways and we want to give them a 10-year birthday present," said Kevin Burns, Regional Sales Director, Western North America for British Airways. "The travel period covers one of the best times to visit London -- fall and winter when all the attractions are thriving and the holiday season in London is approaching. With the strengthening dollar, there isn't a better time to visit London."
British Airways' Club World cabin features wide, comfortable seats that convert to a six-foot long totally flat bed.
The $1010 fare may flown in either direction, to or from London, and may be combined with any other British Airways airfare. Tickets must be purchased 42 days in advance of departure and all outbound travel must occur before Dec. 17th, 2008. There is a Saturday night minimum stay and the return segment must be flown within 12 months. The $1010 fare includes the fuel surcharge, but excludes taxes of approximately $175 plus the $2.50 Sept. 11th Security fee.
