DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - September 4, 2008) - NewMarket Technology, Inc. (OTCBB : NMKTE ) today
announced signing an agreement to provide Infor ERP Baan customization and
maintenance services for Phoenix Contact (www.phoenixcontact.com). Phoenix
is an eighty-year-old global company based in Germany. They specialize in
the development and manufacture of electric components and system solutions
for industrial applications. Phoenix maintains forty subsidiary companies,
with an additional thirty remote offices around the world. In support of
Phoenix's growth in the Brazilian market, NewMarket's Brazilian subsidiary,
UniOne, will provide customization and maintenance services for Phoenix
Contact's operations based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Infor ERP Baan is an
advanced ERP solution that supports the complex manufacturing requirements
of a variety of industries to include electronics.
$12.6 Million in Revenue YTD with $528,600 in Net Income from Latin
American Operations
NewMarket's operations in Latin America are leading Microsoft, Oracle and
Baan partners in the region and have seen substantial growth from these
partnerships over the past year. For the first half of 2008, NewMarket's
