Law Enforcement Associates Receives Orders for 15 Birddog(TM) GPS Surveillance Systems From Four Federal Agencies

RALEIGH, NC--(Marketwire - September 8, 2008) - Law Enforcement Associates Corporation (LEA)
(AMEX : AID ), the largest U.S. developer and manufacturer of undercover
surveillance equipment, today announced that four agencies of the Federal
Government have ordered a total of 15 Birddog™ GPS tracking systems
during the month of September. All of the orders are expected to ship
during the Company's third fiscal quarter, which ends Sept. 30. Value of
the orders and the intended applications of the products were not
disclosed.
"Law enforcement agencies around the country rely on the Birddog and its
advanced GPS tracking technology to address covert surveillance

the Birddog was introduced roughly 20 months ago, and it has quickly become
