Lysaker, 10 September 2008 Nord Pool has received the following information from the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE): Lower Norwegian net export Decreased Norwegian power production, increased power consumption and lower export capacities, resulted in reduced Norwegian net export from week 35 to week 36. In week 36 the net export was 309 GWh, compared to 383 GWh in week 35. The reduction was biggest in Southern Norway. . The prices in all Norwegian elspot areas increased from week 35 to week 36. Northern Norway had the largest increase, while Middle Norway had the highest price. In Northern Norway the average price was 56 øre/kWh. In Sothern and Middle Norway the price was 51 and 58 øre/kWh respectively. The reservoir level increased by 0.5 percentage points during week 36 and was 86.1 percent in the end of the week. That is 0.5 percentage points above the week's median level.
