African Consolidated Resources plc, the Zimbabwe focused mineral exploration company is pleased to announce that it has acquired the entire share capital of M Ltd, a private company whose principal assets are a database related to diamonds together with a warehouse of physical concentrate samples constituting the source of the database. The database includes data related to suspected kimberlites covering significant areas of Zimbabwe.
 
In consideration for the acquisition of M Ltd, the Company has issued 1,250,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ('Shares'). The Shares issued are escrowed and cannot be sold for 12 months.
 
Application has been made to the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange ('AIM') for 1,250,000 Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ('Admission'). Admission is expected to occur at 8:00 a.m. on 25 September 2008.
