Volvo Group included on Dow Jones Sustainability Index for seventh consecutive
year

The Volvo Group has once again qualified for inclusion on the Dow Jones
Sustainability Index of the world's foremost companies in sustainable
development. Volvo is one of the few Swedish companies included on both the Dow
Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) and the Dow Jones STOXX
Sustainability Index (DJSI STOXX).

For the seventh consecutive year, Volvo is included on DJSI World, thanks to the
Group's sustainability efforts relating to financial, environmental and social
issues. This means that Volvo is deemed to be among the top ten percent of the
world's best companies in terms of combining financial profitability with
concern for the environment and social issues. In total, 2,500 companies were
reviewed, and only 320 were considered sufficiently qualified for inclusion on
DJSI World.

The Volvo Group received an especially positive rating for the manner in which
it manages environmental issues, corporate governance and financial issues.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Volvo Group is also included on DJSI STOXX,
an index of the leading European companies in sustainable development. A total
of 600 companies were reviewed for inclusion on DJSI STOXX, and 162 qualified
for inclusion on the index.
