Alfa Laval's Capital Markets Day, November 18

Alfa Laval has the pleasure to invite you to our Capital Markets Day on November
18, 2008. The event will take place at the Hilton Hotel Copenhagen Airport,
Copenhagen, Denmark, starting at 10:30 a.m. CET and ending at approximately 4:30
p.m. CET.

We will start with a business update from our CEO Lars Renström and CFO Thomas
Thuresson, as well as Ulf Granstrand, head of the Process Technology Division,
and Svante Karlsson, head of the Equipment Division.

The topic for the afternoon session is structural growth and will include
presentations on the development within specific industries in the BRIC
countries such as ethanol, refinery, food and marine. Each country presentation
will be followed by brief introductions to relevant products. 

The day will conclude with final remarks as well as a general Q&A session. 

After the presentations, we are pleased to invite you to a traditional Scanian
roast goose dinner. The dinner will take place in Skanör, Sweden, and end at
approximately 9:00 p.m. CET.
