SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - September 30, 2008) - Togo's
Eateries, Inc., purveyor of delicious, hand-crafted sandwiches that are
freshly prepared for people on the go, today announced the start of 1970s
Flashback Wednesdays to support the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation. Starting October 1st, participating
Togo's locations will thank their loyal customers by rolling back the price
of one 6" classic sandwich every Wednesday to the original 1970s price of
$1.99. Since the 1970s, community members have rallied around Togo's and
supported their quality and quantity sandwich philosophy. Additionally,
Togo's will make a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
with every sandwich purchased.
"Togo's has been an integral part of the community for decades. Rolling our
prices back and giving to charity is our way to thank the community for
supporting us for so many years," said Tony Gioia, Togo's President and
CEO. "We have been making fresh, quality sandwiches for over 37 years. Time
changes and prices change, but our quality has not. That is why we are
thrilled to be giving back to our loyal supporters in two ways: with
discounted delicious hand-made sandwiches stuffed with the finest
ingredients, and donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
with every sandwich sold."

About Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
JDRF, the leading charitable funder and
advocate of type 1 (juvenile) diabetes research worldwide, was founded in
1970 by the parents of children with juvenile diabetes -- a disease which
strikes children suddenly, makes them insulin-dependent for life, and
carries the constant threat of devastating complications. Since inception,
JDRF has provided more than $1 billion in direct funding to diabetes
research. More than 85 percent of JDRF's expenditures directly support
research and research-related education. JDRF's mission is constant: to
find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of
research. For more information, visit the JDRF web site at www.jdrf.org or
