- Central Bank of Iceland increases the issue of certificates of deposits

The Central Bank of Iceland has decided to offer certificates of deposits, SI
09 0325 (ISIN IS0000018596). They will be available on tap as of October 3,
2008. The Central Bank will continue to pay interest on the certificate on a
weekly basis on the Bank's regular business days. The certificates can also be
repaid on the same dates. The certificates are eligible for clearing settlement
and custody in Clearstream.
