The Danish government has provided a two-year guarantee for all deposits with
and unsecured claims against Danish financial institutions. The guarantee is
managed and financed by the Det Private Beredskab (the Sector Fund).
A/S Ringkjøbing Bank has today decided to confirm its membership of the Sector
Fund. This implies the bank will be covered by the guarantee which runs from
October 6, 2008 until September 30, 2010.
The bank's share of the sector's total annual guarantee on DKK 7.5 billion is
estimated to DKK 30 million and hereto comes any further payment in case the
guarantee is demanded to be increased.
In 2008 the payment to the guarantee is hereby expected to effect the bank's
accounts negatively by DKK 8 million.
