EnergySolutions Announces $19,000,000 Remedial Stewardship Contract


SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire - October 7, 2008) - EnergySolutions, Inc. (NYSE: ES) announced today its major role in the clean up of the Asarco Federated Metal Superfund Site in Houston, Texas. EnergySolutions has responsibility for soil remediation at the 20-year old site pursuant to a $19,000,000 contract with Environmental Liability Transfer, Inc. which acquired the site from the Asarco bankruptcy estate.
