(Nasdaq:SSTR), a leading international publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software today announced plans to hold its 2008 annual meeting of stockholders at the offices of Troutman Sanders LLP, The Chrysler Building, 405 Lexington Avenue, Ninth Floor, New York, New York 10174 on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. (local time). In addition, the Company notes that stockholders of record as of the close of business on October 31, 2008 will be entitled to vote at the annual meeting or any adjournment thereof.
Deadline for Stockholder Proposals Pursuant to Rule 14a-8
The date on which the 2008 annual meeting of stockholders will be held constitutes a change of more than 30 days from the anniversary of the Company's 2007 annual meeting. As a result, pursuant to Rule 14a-8 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, the Company has set a new deadline for the receipt of stockholder proposals submitted pursuant to Rule 14a-8 for inclusion in its proxy materials for the 2008 annual meeting.
