and updates its outlook due to the transaction                                  

Nurminen Logistics Plc and the minority shareholders have today signed an       
agreement to sell the Nurminen Care business unit to a fund managed by private  
equity investor Sentica Partners Oy. The object of the transaction is the entire
share capital of Helsingin Ensihoito- ja Sairaankuljetus Oy, of which Nurminen  
Logistics Plc owns 62 percent. The sale price of the entire share capital is    
approximately EUR 7.8 million and the divestment is expected to generate sales  
profit of EUR 0.3 million in the accounts of Nurminen Logistics Group. The sale 
price is paid in cash. When necessary, the final sale price is adjusted based on
the amount of net debt on Helsingin Ensihoito- ja Sairaankuljetus Oy's          
consolidated balance sheet at the end of October. The vendors will give EUR 1   
million interest-bearing vendor note to the buyer. Nurminen Logistics Plc's     
share of the loan is EUR 650 thousand. The transaction is assumed to be closed  
by the end of October.                                                          

The Nurminen Care accounted for about 10 % of Nurminen Logistics Plc's
January-June 2008 consolidated net sales. Nurminen Care is Finland's biggest 
private provider of emergency and non-emergency medical transport. It consists  
of nine local companies around Finland. The group has 250 employees.            

Nurminen Logistics Plc divests is ambulance operator services in order to be    
able to focus on logistics and closely related operations as stated in its      
published strategy. The company is looking for strong growth in the Baltic Sea  
region, Russia and other CIS countries.

Nurminen Logistics Plc updates its outlook due to the transaction               

The management of Nurminen Logistics has earlier announced that it expects the  
organic growth to exceed 10% of net sales, and the company's operating margin to
improve compared to 2007 carve-out financial information of Nurminen Logistics. 
Due to the sale of Nurminen Care business unit the outlook is updated so that   
the growth of net sales is 5-10% and the company's operating margin will improve
compared to 2007 carve-out financial information of Nurminen Logistics.         

The transaction will decrease Nurminen Logistics' interest-bearing net debt     
approximately by EUR 8.3 million.
