Stock Exchange Release no. 26 Made public via OMX on 13 October 2008 Nordic Tankers to have new CEO To strengthen the management of the company and ensure a successful development in keeping with the strategy of the Supervisory Board as announced at end-August, the Management Board will be strengthened with a new CEO, Geir Jansen. The company's acting CEO up till now, Claus Breitenbauch, will continue to serve on the Management Board as COO and will be responsible for the company's vessels. Geir Jansen is 54 years old, holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration and for the last 20 years, he has worked with the development of significant shipping and investment companies, including DIFKO, DSB Rederi A/S, Scandlines AG and Stena Line. Geir Jansen serves on the supervisory boards of Eleven Danes A/S (Chairman), A/S West Alpha (Chairman), Gemaja A/S (Chairman) and ACE-Link A/S, which operates a ferry service between Elsinore and Helsingborg.
