NEW YORK, Nov. 6, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- JetBlue Airways Corporation (Nasdaq:JBLU) reported today that its traffic in October decreased 5.4 percent from October 2007, on a capacity decrease of 11.1 percent.
Load factor for October 2008 was 80.7 percent, an increase of 4.8 points from October 2007. JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 99.7 percent, and its on-time (1) performance was 86.8 percent. JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of October increased 28 percent year over year.
