Global Finance magazine has named DnB NOR best Norwegian foreign exchange bank. The renowned Global Finance magazine has named DnB NOR best Norwegian foreign exchange bank. In an evaluation of foreign exchange banks in 82 countries and regions, the magazine asked representatives from different sectors of the financial services industry to choose the best banks. Key criteria included transaction volumes, market shares, global coverage, customer service, competitive pricing and use of innovative technology. "DnB NOR Markets is very pleased that we have once again been selected as Norway's best FX bank," says head of DnB NOR Markets, group executive vice president Ottar Ertzeid. "To be repeatedly selected as Norway's best FX bank is a recognition of the bank's expertise in a field that is important to both our customers and to DnB NOR," says Ertzeid. According to Global Finance, they have found the banks that large international companies can rely on with respect to their needs for foreign exchange services. The award winners are featured now in the January 2009 issue of Global Finance, and the award will be presented in Istanbul in connection with the annual meeting of the IMF and the World Bank next year. Deutsche Bank was named best global bank.
