Action filed against AS Kalev

AS Kalev has received information through the press that AS Alta Foods, which
is part of the Alta Capital Partners Group, has filed a petition for
arbitration with the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce
for resolving an action brought against AS Kalev. Simultaneously with the
filing of the petition for arbitration, Alta Foods sought the freezing of
assets belonging to AS Kalev in order to secure an action filed against AS
Kalev. 
 
As of 24 November 2008, AS Kalev has not received any decision from Harju
County Court, nor from the arbitration tribunal reviewing the said dispute,
regarding attachment of AS Kalev's assets. AS Kalev will disclose information
regarding a possible initiation of proceedings or freezing of assets
immediately after the respective injunction reaches AS Kalev.
