CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - December 9, 2008) - MorrisAnderson is pleased to
announce that Kenneth R. Yager, II has been promoted from Managing Director
to Principal and equity owner effective January 1, 2009.
Yager joined MorrisAnderson in August 2005, bringing with him nearly two
decades of experience in general management, capital-raising and
profit-and-loss responsibility for companies in growth, leveraged-buyout
and turnaround situations. At MorrisAnderson, he has acted as interim
senior manager for numerous companies in a wide variety of industries. He
has developed a strong practice in helping companies in the growing service
industries space as well as MorrisAnderson's more traditional manufacturing
and distribution industries.

primarily through private equity firms, hedge funds and investors," states

Before he joined MorrisAnderson, Yager was head of Newpoint Ventures, which
revitalized mid-market companies. He also has been vice president, equity
sponsor business development at Bank of America, senior associate at
Coopers & Lybrand, and financial analyst in the Capital Markets Division of
Salomon Brothers. Yager holds a bachelor's degree in management, with
majors in finance and accounting, from Tulane University, and a master's
degree in management from J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern
University.
A former president of the Kellogg Alumni Club, Yager is a member of the
Chicago/Midwest chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and of the
Association for Corporate Growth. He is based in
MorrisAnderson's Chicago office.
