Alm. Brand Bank A/S raising subordinate loan with Alm. Brand A/S

Alm. Brand Bank A/S will raise a DKK 250 million subordinate loan with Alm.
Brand A/S. The loan will be taken out on market terms and will form part of the
bank's capital base. The loan has a term of eight years with optional
redemption after five years. 

The bank has taken out the subordinate loan against the background of the
continued volatile markets and has wished to maintain the strengthened capital
base in order to ensure a reasonable extra margin of capital.
