BIGBANK increased the number of Management Board members to four

The Supervisory Board of Balti Investeeringute Grupi Pank AS (BIGBANK) decided
to expand the Management Board to four members and appoint Ingo Põder as a new
member of the Management Board. Ingo Põder will be responsible for credit area.

Ingo Põder (36) worked as the CEO of Balti Investeeringute Grupp AS in
1997-2003 and has held different positions in Nordea Bank after that; his most
recent position was Head of Nordic and International Corporates Desk.

Veiko Kandla, member of the Management Board of BIGBANK who was responsible for
the credit area until now, will according to the decision of the Supervisory
Board, focus on developing BIGBANK's activities in foreign markets, in
Scandinavia and Western-Europe primarily.

According to Parvel Pruunsild, chairman of the Supervisory Board of BIGBANK,
the purpose of the change is to find opportunities to expand the company's
activities in new markets. “The Baltic economies will have a small development
potential in the next coming years and we believe that BIGBANK's presence in
these markets is sufficient in today's situation. We see main development
opportunities outside of the Baltic countries, especially in Scandinavia and
Western-Europe. We are glad that Ingo Põder, who has proven himself as a
capable leader, found challenges with us again”, said Pruunsild.

Balti Investeeringute Grupi Pank AS, operating under the trade name BIGBANK, is
a specialised credit institution based on local capital, having branches in
Latvia and Lithuania, and offering also services in Finland on cross-border
basis.

The bonds of Balti Investeeringute Grupi Pank AS are listed on Tallinn and
Stockholm stock exchanges.
