Ms Terhi Heikkinen has been named Amer Sports Vice President, Human Resources and member of Executive Team. Ms Heikkinen will join Amer Sports on February 23, 2009 and will report directly to the President and CEO Roger Talermo.
Terhi Heikkinen (born 1964) holds a Master's degree in Economic Sciences from the University of Tampere. She joins Amer Sports from Rautaruukki, where she held the position of Vice President, Human Resources since 2005. Ms Heikkinen has varied experience in leading and developing Human Resources related duties for example at Alma Media, Fujitsu-Invia, Accenture and Hartwall.
The number of Amer Sports employees as a whole at the end of September was 6,138, from which 3,234 worked in EMEA area, 2,346 in Americas and 558 in Asia.
