Derivatives: Amendments to Rules and Regulations 4.47 Addendum Russian DRs - Re-calculation rules (01/09)

On 16 January 2009 the Rules and Regulations of NASDAQ OMX Derivatives Markets will be amended to reflect the changes to the Corporate Action rules regarding dividends that are considered Extraordinary in relation to IOB DR Contracts.

Recalculations of Russian derivative instruments will no longer be carried out as a result of the payment of ordinary dividends, and only the payment of extraordinary dividends will be adjusted for.
An extraordinary dividend is any dividend deemed by the DR Issuer to be a special dividend or where the dividend is not distributed within the normal pattern for the relevant DR. Extraordinary dividends will be adjusted in full and Rule 4.47.3.6 will be amended accordingly, with effect from 16 January 2009.
