-- Complete tracer studies to determine the proper location and
installation of monitor wells in the Ogallala-Antlers-Gatuna Formation
-- Verify that salt dilution will not impact the disposal facility
-- Verify and evaluate local faults
-- Verify the adequacy of the leachate collection system
-- Develop an analysis of site specific erosion rates
-- Complete seismic stability studies
It will take a significant amount of time to satisfy all of these
conditions. If the conditions are ever met, a small amount of commercial
waste would be allowed for disposal from the states of Vermont and Texas,
members of the Texas compact.
