Red Hawk Casino Announces Grand Opening Celebration on Thursday January 22

First Red Hawk Rewards Club $1 Million Winner to Be Named at Midnight


PLACERVILLE, CA--(Marketwire - January 20, 2009) - Red Hawk Casino announced today that it will host a Grand Opening celebration on Thursday, January 22 at 6 p.m. The event, which is open to the public, will include a special red carpet entry, $100,000 Celebrity Charity Blackjack Tournament and a drawing for the casino's first Red Hawk Rewards Club $1 million winner. Guests will also be treated to a performance by The Bacon Brothers, featuring actor Kevin Bacon and his brother Michael, as well as a myriad of other entertainers.

Celebrities, dignitaries and Members of the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians and their invited guests will arrive at 6 p.m. for a special red carpet entry from the casino's Porte Cochere to the main gaming floor. At 8 p.m., a $100,000 Celebrity Charity Blackjack Tournament will take place on the main casino floor, in which all participants will be given a minimum of $5,000 to donate to their respective charity. The winning celebrity will be awarded $30,000 for his or her charity. Casino guests will be able to view the tournament, which will also be simulcast throughout the property.     Foundation.
--  Colleen Shannon, PLAYBOY Magazine's 50th Anniversary Playmate® and
    "The World's Sexiest DJ," will be playing for the Pilanesberg Wildlife
    Trust.
--  Actor Perry King, known for his role in the 1980s television show
    "Riptide" and host of the upcoming travel show "Experience El Dorado," will
    be playing for Olive Crest, Homes and Services for Abused Children.
--  Brad Miller, Center for the Sacramento Kings.
--  Kenny Thomas, Forward for the Sacramento Kings.
--  Actress Charlene Tilton, known for her role as Lucy Ewing Cooper on
    the popular television series "Dallas," will be playing for the World Heart
    Foundation.
--  Actress Linda Blair, known for her role as the child, Regan in the
    film "The Exorcist," will be playing for the World Heart Foundation.
--  Singer Bobby Rydell, known for his 1960s Rock and Roll hits such as
    "Wild One" and "Sway," will be playing for Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
--  Mark S. Allen, entertainment reporter for Good Day Sacramento, will be
    playing for People for Animal Welfare in El Dorado County (PAWED).
--  Jennifer Steele, on-air personality for KYMX-FX 96.1, will be playing

Immediately following the Blackjack Tournament at approximately 9:30 p.m., guests will be treated to a live performance by The Bacon Brothers at the Stage Bar on the main casino floor. Actor Kevin Bacon and his brother Michael will perform a collection of their songs, featuring earthy harmonies which come through in their popular hits including, "Woman's Got A Mind to Change" and "Don't Lose Me Boy."
