HOUSTON, Jan. 22, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CenterPoint Energy, Inc.'s (NYSE:CNP) board of directors today declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.19 per share of common stock payable on March 10, 2009, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on February 16, 2009. This represents more than a four percent increase over the $0.1825 per common share quarterly dividends paid by the company in 2008.
