SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - February 17, 2009) - Christine Crandell, Executive Vice
President and Chief Marketing Officer of Egenera, Inc., the leader in data
center infrastructure orchestration, will deliver a keynote address at the
International Career Fair '09 (ICF '09) for the second consecutive year.
ICF '09 is a two-day recruitment event being held on Friday, February 20th
and Saturday, February 21st at the Cathedral Hill Hotel in San Francisco.
Global companies like Microsoft, GE, Dell Renault, Lafarge, Total and
Thales participate in this event each year to interview attendees, who are
recent or soon to be graduate students from top schools, and seasoned
professionals seeking an international career. The fair expects more than
1,500 attendees from around the world.
In addition to recruiting, the fair offers attendees valuable advice and
information from top level executives and managers at leading international
companies on how to succeed in their career and working in a global
environment. Christine Crandell will be presenting for the second
consecutive year and among the top level executive presenters at ICF '09.
Ms. Crandell will deliver a keynote address titled "Developing Your
Personal Brand that Gets You Noticed."
According to Ms. Crandell, the digital economy has brought to the forefront
the critical role of the personal brand. In place of the traditional
resume, the digital personal brand becomes the reputation, credibility and
calling card of established employees as well as new entrants to the
workforce. For new entrants, crafting their personal brand offers a unique
opportunity to express their passion, vision and knowledge. However, it
also demands thoughtful shaping of perception, creatively addressing
challenges in securing the "right" endorsements, and clear separation from
their personal life online. Ms. Crandell's keynote discussion will cover
the 10 steps in defining your brand, how to get quickly started and set
yourself apart from others entering the global workforce.
"The International Career Fair is a unique opportunity to bring together,
under one roof, leading companies, executives and high caliber recruits
from countries around the world," said Ms. Crandell. "The personal brand
offers new as well as established employees an ability to differentiate
themselves and demonstrate their unique capabilities in a crowded market. I
am delighted to be invited back to speak at ICF."
Ms. Crandell will speak at 10:30 a.m. pacific standard time on February 21,
2009.
