Wacker Neuson SE entered in Register of Companies

Munich, February 19, 2009) With immediate effect, Wacker Construction
Equipment AG is trading under the name Wacker Neuson SE. The new company
was entered yesterday in the Register of Companies (HRB 177 839) at the
Munich Magistrate's Court, thus marking the change of name and form legally
effective. This also marked implementation of the proposals approved during
the previous AGM on June 3, 2008.

Proven Executive and Supervisory Board teams remain in place
'The conversion to an SE is a fitting move for a company with such an
international profile as ours. In Europe alone, we have over 20 different
affiliates and 120 sales and service stations in different countries. This
new legal form allows us to maintain our proven employee participation
model and keep two employee representatives on the six-strong Supervisory
Board,' explains Dr.-Ing. Georg Sick, CEO of Wacker Neuson SE. At its
constituent meeting last week, the Supervisory Board voted in favor of
continuity at executive level and appointed the former Executive Board
members Dr.-Ing. Georg Sick, Martin Lehner, Günther Binder, Werner Schwind
and Richard Mayer to the Executive Board of the new Wacker Neuson SE. The
company's headquarters will remain in Munich.

Registered company shares currently listed on the regulated Prime Standard
segment of the German stock exchange (ISIN DE000WACK012 / WKN WACK01) will
most likely be renamed to Wacker Neuson SE on March 4, 2009. Shareholders
of Wacker Construction Equipment AG will automatically become shareholders
of Wacker Neuson SE.
