Ambassadors Group Declares Quarterly Dividend


SPOKANE, Wash., Feb. 26, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ambassadors Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:EPAX) ("Company"), a leading provider of educational travel experiences, announced today that its board of directors decreased its quarterly dividend to $0.06 per share from $0.115 per share. The new dividend will be paid on March 26, 2009, to all common stockholders of record as of March 12, 2009.

Jeff Thomas, president and chief executive officer of Ambassadors Group, Inc., stated, "We are proud to continue our quarterly dividend, which is part of our broader effort to return capital to shareowners in an efficient manner. Given the unusual economic times, we believe that there may be more efficient mixes of dividend and share buybacks in the near term.
