Funambol Releases Free Open Source MobileWe Update for BlackBerry, Symbian and Billions of Mobile Phones
Version 7.1 Provides Hundreds of Functional & Performance Improvements, Includes New Symbian Client and Supports Many Additional Mobile Phones

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - February 26, 2009) - Funambol, the leading provider of open

immediate availability of an important new release of its open source
MobileWe software for billions of mobile phones. Funambol version 7.1
provides enhanced support for many mobile phones, including BlackBerry OS
4.5 and 4.6 devices (used by the BlackBerry Bold, Curve Javelin and Pearl
Flip). It also includes a new Symbian client for syncing PIM data on Nokia
and Samsung Symbian Series 60 3rd Edition devices. Funambol version 7.1
includes hundreds of additional enhancements, such as support for iCalendar
