As Spring Quickly Approaches Memphis, the Calendar of Events Is Getting Busier and Busier

MEMPHIS, TN--(Marketwire - March 13, 2009) - Preparations for one of Memphis' most well
known events, the Memphis in May International Festival, are under way.
Festivities start on May 1st with the Beale Street Music Festival, followed
by the International Week Salute to Chile and the World Championship
Barbecue Cooking Contest. The Sunset Symphony on May 23rd will round out
the month of celebration.
Music Festivals in Memphis
On Thursday, March 5th, the line-up for the Beale Street Music Festival was
announced.

The line up features a wide range of well known musical talent including,
but not limited to, The All-American Rejects, Katy Perry, G. Love & Special
Sauce, Al Green, Korn, Elvis Costello, Saving Abel, The Bar-Kays, James
Taylor, 311, Fall Out Boy, Snoop Dogg, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Three 6 Mafia.
Several Chilean acts will also be performing throughout the weekend.

March Madness is a favorite time of year for many, and Memphis will be host
