YIT OYJ PRESS RELEASE APRIL 3, 2009 AT 13:15 AAPO NIKUNEN APPOINTED TO MANAGEMENT POSITION IN FINANCING AT YIT GROUP Aapo Nikunen (43), MBA, Master of Laws, has been appointed to a senior management position in financing at YIT Group as of July 1, 2009. Nikunen will take over the duties of Vice President, Finance for the Group at a later defined date, as the current VP, Finance, Jaakko Mäkynen, retires. Nikunen has extensive experience in financing in real estate and manufacturing industries. He currently holds the position of Director, Finance and Operations at Aberdeen Property Investors Eastern Europe, stationed in Copenhagen. He has also served as Managing Director of Metsä Group Financial Services Oy. Nikunen will report to CFO Sakari Ahdekivi.
