TeraRecon Elects New Board of Directors and Reorganizes Management Team, Appointing Founder Motoaki Saito, M.D., Ph.D as Chairman and CTO, and Appointing Robert Taylor, Ph.D. as President and CEO

(www.terarecon.com), a leader in innovative imaging processing technology and advanced decision support and 3D visualization solutions, today announced the election of a new board of directors at its annual meeting of the shareholders, held on March 31st, 2009. The elected directors are TeraRecon Founder Motoaki Saito, M.D., Ph.D., Robert James Taylor, Ph.D., Fumio Urano, Shigeyuki Watanabe and Matthew James Ostrander. On April 1st, 2009, the newly elected board of directors met and appointed company Founder and serving Chief Executive Officer Motoaki Saito, M.D., Ph.D., as Chairman and Chief Technology Officer. Robert Taylor, Ph.D, the serving President and Chief Operating Officer was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer.
