Joint Venture Expands Kenexa's Footprint in Chinese Market

WAYNE, PA--(Marketwire - April 6, 2009) - Kenexa® (NASDAQ: KNXA), a global provider of talent management and retention solutions, and R&J Management Consultants today announced an alliance between the companies that expands Kenexa's presence in the Chinese market. The resulting entity will be known as Shanghai Kenexa and includes more than 140 employees and six locations. Kenexa sought to partner with R&J Management Consultants for its expertise in recruiting services and local leadership.

Rudy Karsan, Kenexa's CEO, said, "As the Chinese economy continues to grow, the competition for recruiting and retaining the best employees will increase. This market represents significant opportunities for both companies. Together, we'll help global and local companies in China fill their openings with qualified talent and maximize their performance."

David Shen of R&J Management assumes the role of general manager, Shanghai Kenexa. He commented, "Kenexa is a proven partner to many multi-national companies operating in the Chinese market. The company's breadth of products, and services (RPO), will enable local companies as well as those businesses expanding in China to create working environments where employees can flourish."

Kenexa Continues Strategic Growth
