15 April 2009 - Aker Solutions announced yesterday that the company will hold an extraordinary general meeting to approve Aker ASA's subscription in the bond issue announced 2 April. As a consequence of this, the bond issue will be delayed until after the general meeting and all commitments under the loan are thus released.
The extraordinary general meeting will be called for as soon as the necessary documentation, including the auditors' independent statement, is ready. The bond issue will be placed in the market shortly after the general meeting.
