Subscription period for Lappland Goldminers' preferential rights issue starts today



Today, Monday April 27, 2009 the subscription period for Lappland
Goldminers AB's preferential rights issue starts. The Subscription
period ends on May 12, 2009. Trade with subscription rights will take
place on First North during the period starting April 27, 2009
up to and including May 7, 2009. There will be no subscription
without preferential rights.

Offer in brief

  * Subscription period: April 27 - May 12 12, 2009.
  * Subscription price 7.00 SEK per share.
  * A person who on the date of April 23, 2009 is a share holder in
    Lappland Goldminers is a preferential subscriber for the new
    issue. For each one (1) share owned one (1) subscription right is
    given. Ten (10) subscription rights are required for every one
    (1) share of the new issue.

Since April 20, 2009 the prospectus has been available on the
